Greetings Mustang students and families,
What a year! You have faced many challenges to make it to this point. We are so proud of our students for all that they have accomplished in the face of adversity. Your accomplishments will be reflected in the report cards that we are mailing to all students next week.
We are so excited to welcome you back to Ottawa Technical Secondary School in the fall if it is safe to do so. Plans are underway to ensure student safety while providing the best possible education experience for our students. Please keep track of developments at https://otss.ocdsb.ca/. We also invite you to follow us on Instagram: @ottawatechss @principal_perry @otsslib @otssguidance and on Twitter: @OttTechSS
Please know that, given the current situation, students could not be returning to a better school this September. Our student population is small and our building is large, enabling physical distance while ensuring that all students are learning in small classes with caring and careful educational assistants and teachers.
As you may be aware, the learning model for next year is still fluid and subject to change. That being said, our education professionals are ready to provide engaging, exciting, and accessible learning experiences tailored to the interests and pathways of each of our individual students regardless of the delivery model.
Again, we can’t wait to continue building relationships and providing success opportunities for students in September. We are planning for a smooth and safe transition back to school for all students. Should you have any questions or concerns between now and September, please do not hesitate to contact us. We wish you and your families all the best this summer.
